...and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life

Getting Started

Pray for God to show you and your church how He wants you to be involved in telling His story among the nations.

Recruit people interested in missions to join you in praying; meet together regularly to pray and seek God’s direction.

Take notice of the opportunities to get involved in frontline missions that God reveals to your church.

Lead a Bible study on missions for anyone interested, such as On Mission With God, Called and Accountable, or God’s Heart for the Nations.

Adopt a people group. Ask Sunday School classes or small groups to pray about several people groups. Look for connections that your church already has with people groups.

Adopt a missionary. Ask Sunday School classes or small groups to pray about adopting a missionary that they will encourage and support. Look for connections that your church has with missionaries and those already serving among people groups.

Host mission events that increase awareness of people groups who do not know Christ, highlight your adopted people group or missionary, or an area of the world that interests your church.

Invite people in to share with your church about specific ways God is working around the world, especially in the regions that interest your church.

Challenge your people to get involved in mission efforts in your community, state, nation and world. Challenge them to experience missions first-hand.

Conduct research to find out where your adopted people group may live in the US. Many groups can be found living and working in large cities, seeking to support their families back home. Take a mission trip to those US cities.

Don’t limit God! He has a mission and a purpose for your church to fulfill among the nations…He CAN do anything!
